CES 2026: Ecovacs updates X Series line with pretreat feature, mop cover and more

CES 2026 EcoVacs

Ecovacs unveiled its X12 lineup of robotic vacuums this week at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

The X12 series will retain the design of the X11 but adds a newly designed anti-tangle brush, a mop roller that is 50% larger, a new mop roller cover and a stain pre-treatment feature.

Ecovacs says the larger mop roller will improve cleaning efficiency and mopping performance in larger households. The X12 also features an automatic mop roller cover designed to protect medium- to high-pile carpeting from a wet mop roller.

The X12 series introduces an exclusive stain pre-treatment feature that allows the robot to identify tough stains, spray cleaning solution and allow it to soak before completing the mopping cycle.

According to Ecovacs, the feature enables the X12 to remove tough, dried-on stains that would otherwise require multiple passes.

The X12 will be available in two models, both featuring a multifunction docking station with either a traditional bagged design or a bagless cyclone design.

Ecovacs also announced an updated midrange model, the T90 Pro Omni. The T90 Pro Omni adds boost charging, previously exclusive to the X11, allowing the robot to trickle-charge while cleaning at the base station to complete tasks more quickly.

Ecovacs says the X12 models are expected to ship by the end of February for $1,499 MSRP. The T90 Pro Omni is expected to ship later this year.
