First Look: Unboxing and Setting Up the Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow

Roborock CES 2026 Qrevo Curv 2 Flow

The robot vacuum landscape is shifting, and market leader Roborock is finally joining the fray. The Qrevo Curv 2 Flow is the brand's first entry into the world of real-time, self-cleaning roller mops.

Housed inside the sleek, white Curv dock base station, the Curv 2 Flow is thick, measuring 4.7 inches (119 millimeters) tall. It includes one lifting side brush, one stationary side brush, the DuoDivide anti-tangle brush roller and a SpiraFlow mop roller.

The Qrevo Curv 2 Flow boasts up to 20,000 Pa of suction. It navigates using lidar for 3D mapping and features Reactive AI—a structured light and RGB camera system capable of recognizing more than 200 objects.

Roborock says its extra-wide 270-millimeter mop roller delivers 15 newtons of downward pressure (3.4 pounds), which is 2.5 times more mopping pressure than a traditional robot vacuum with spinning mops.

Eight large hydration points continuously wash the roller while its built-in scraper diverts dirty water and debris into the onboard dirty water reservoir.

The roller itself spins at 220 RPM to scrub away stubborn, sticky messes and can extend outward, allowing it to clean within 10 millimeters of baseboards, walls and furniture. When the unit detects carpet, the roller automatically lifts 15 millimeters, and a thick, protective shield engages to prevent the mop from dampening the floor.

The Qrevo Curv 2 Flow can automatically detect waste types, boost suction for heavy dirt and switch to mop-only for liquid spills.

The upgraded Curv dock base station can wash the mop roller at up to 167 degrees Fahrenheit, eliminating dirt and grease. The dock uses hot air drying at up to 131 degrees Fahrenheit to prevent bacteria and odors from developing on the roller itself.

The unit includes ships in a standard cardboard box with the Curv 2 Flow unit, the Curv multifunctional dock, internal cleaning tray, dirty water tank, clean water tank, pre-installed dust bag, plastic dust bag compartment cover, matching white power cord and product manual.

No additional accessories, supplies or sample detergents are included.

Mapping and App Features

Mapping is straightforward, similar to other robot vacuums. The app prompts you to initiate a quick map, sending the unit to scan your home using its lidar sensor before returning to its base. A floor plan with room divisions is automatically generated. You can manually rename, merge, delete or reconfigure room spaces as needed.

The Roborock app is class-leading, offering multiple modes including AI SmartPlan, vacuum followed by mop, vacuum and mop simultaneously and customize. Interestingly, while there is a vacuum-only mode, a mop-only mode is not currently available. Other app features include the ability to create daily or weekly schedules, a do-not-disturb mode, and settings for carpet cleaning, floor cleaning, the dock and reactive obstacle avoidance.

The Qrevo Curv 2 Flow features Roborock’s Rocky built-in voice assistant, full Matter 1.4 support (including support for rooms and battery levels), remote camera viewing and pin-and-go navigation, among others.

First Run and Navigation

The unit performed well on its first run, navigating with ease in a tight pathing pattern with mostly straight lines.

It easily detected carpeted mats on both wood and tile flooring, identified wall-to-wall carpeted rooms and avoided large home obstacles such as shoes, clothing and cords. The initial quick map was refined after a full home cleaning that included both vacuuming and mopping.

During testing, the unit occasionally bumped into wooden furniture legs, especially tables. To protect delicate furniture, I recommend adjusting the Obstacle Avoidance settings from the default "high coverage" mode to "less collision."

Pricing and Availability

The Qrevo Curv 2 Flow lists for $999 and is available on the Roborock Store, Amazon, Bed Bath & Beyond and other retailers.

Bottom Line

The Curv 2 Flow appears to be a solid entry into Roborock’s Qrevo mid-tier lineup. Its self-cleaning roller mop and massive suction power make a strong first impression right out of the box.

We look forward to seeing if its daily performance matches its impressive spec sheet, and a full review will be published in the coming months after a thorough testing.
